JHBG DART LEAGUE & SGDA

THE JOHANNESBURG DART LEAGUE

Started in 1973, the Johannesburg Dart League (JDL), for the sons of gentlefolk is a non-profit social organisation that puts the FUN into darts. Also known as House League, JDL, is for players from all walks of life and any skill level. With 5 Divisions, having 6 teams per division, a player can choose where he/she would like to play from, based on their specific level of play.
JDL welcomes all players, young, old, new experienced and/or inexperienced.

SOUTHERN GAUTENG DART ASSOCIATION

Established January 2006, SGDA also known as district darts is for the more determined player who would like to improve their darts and play at a district, provincial and National level. Based in Germiston at the Wesbank Raceway Complex, SGDA invites all serious dart players to join our district and go for the glory.

Southern Gauteng Youth League

Southern Gauteng is dedicated to promote and grow the sport of darts, hence the commencement of a coaching clinic for under 18's which occurs every Saturday between 9am and 12pm at the Wesbank Raceway Darts Club. Training and coaching is provided by Elizabeth Joseph and Dina Hamer, both seasoned springbok players. These young players have a great opportunity to start early and hopefully we have a rising star that comes out of them. Costs to join the youth league are only R60 per annum. Darts, as a sport, is very beneficial to the youth of today. Not only does it assist with Maths skills, but it also exposes the youth to competition from an early age. Youths aged between 13 and 25 who wish to join the league may contact Liz Joseph on 083 226 0473 or Steve Cadger on 082 619 0760.
